Bell Countdown provides market countdowns, quote dashboards, premium feature access, and support. This policy explains the information handled by the app and website.
Information We Collect
The app may use Apple services, StoreKit, and market data providers to deliver subscriptions, entitlement status, quotes, charts, and app functionality. We do not ask for sensitive personal brokerage credentials.
Optional App Activity
If you turn on Share Bell Activity in the app, Bell Countdown may collect a randomly generated installation identifier, app and operating-system version, device model, language, region, timezone, and actions taken inside Bell Countdown. These actions may include screens viewed, ticker searches, watchlist additions and removals, alerts created or changed, scanner interactions, and paper trades you choose to record.
We use this information to personalize Bell Countdown, understand which features and market setups are useful, measure how detected setups perform over time, improve rankings, and diagnose reliability problems. Bell Countdown does not use this feature to record your screen, read activity in other apps, collect keystrokes, access contacts, or obtain brokerage positions or trades.
Sharing is off until you enable it. You can turn it off at any time in the app. Turning it off stops new activity collection. You can also use Delete Collected Activity in the app to remove the activity and device record associated with that installation. Account-linked information may also be deleted by contacting support.
Website Activity
The website records limited first-party events such as TestFlight access link selections and approximate scroll-depth milestones. These events use a random identifier that lasts only for the current browser tab. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, store the full referring URL, or use this website activity to identify you. Browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals disable this collection.
Accounts and Device Association
If you sign in with a Bell Countdown passkey while optional app activity is enabled, the installation may be associated with your Bell Countdown account. Notification delivery tokens are stored in protected form and may be linked to the installation so alerts and device status can be managed. We do not display raw notification tokens in the administrative dashboard.
Subscriptions
Purchases and subscription management are handled by Apple. Apple may provide transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock premium features.
Market Data
Quote, chart, and market information may be requested from external data providers. Those providers may receive technical request data such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and requested symbols.
Support
If you contact support, we may receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, or a description of the issue.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information when needed to operate the app, comply with law, prevent abuse, or provide customer support.
Data Retention and Security
We retain information only while it is reasonably needed to operate and improve Bell Countdown, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse. We use access controls and device-specific credentials to protect app activity, but no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
